@AhabLives@WavePoetry I was reading it while reading Herbert for the first time, and stayed with me, thinking about how a book, an obsession, (and fetish), get constructed— but then seriously, did lead me to go look for Donne and Marvel.
@lldzne@spdbooks I was just thinking yesterday how the pandemic has made me a different reader— I am not really clear on this yet, but feel how I read has changed! Odd too as I could not even read until maybe September of last year, so like six months of little reading/concentration.
@lldzne@spdbooks And it is kind of interesting about the pacing, which is something I brought to the table, taking a five-page ms and blowing it quite open, something the author was excited about, but that sometimes I question if the book's slowness in unrolling makes it lose some coherence...
