Shurin is the former Director of the MFA Writing Program at the University of San Francisco, where he is now Professor Emeritus. We are pleased to present the deeply personal, Flowers and Sky: Two Talks. This book contains two essays on his development as a poet and reflection on his work as well as a handful of previously unpublished poems and will be available in the fall of 2017.
