Dragonfly Review by Jeffrey Kahrs
I love to read reviews of our books as I always gain new perspective, particularly when the text is as challenging as Amelia Rossell's La Libellula, translated as The Dragonfly by Roberta Antognini and Deborah Woodard.
The moment I admire most in this review is when Kahrs decides he has overlooked the idea of "periphery" in the poem and must start again with a new reading. That moment of starting again, of a fresh loop, is one that is inherent to this strange and powerful text.
