The Dragonfly Live! WOW!

What an incredible evening to listening to selections from Deborah Woodards and Roberta Antognini's new translation of The Dragonfly by Amelia Rosselli.

After months of typesetting and working with this text, I'm still at much of a loss to how to read this poem— so it was really moving to hear so many voices, both in word and music come together to interpret this difficult work.

+++A recording of the evening is now available on our audio page or on Soundcloud.+++

This site does not make it easy to caption pictures, so something that I need to figure out at a later date!

Readers and musicians are: Deborah Woodard, Josh Fomon, Jasmine Plaskon, Peter Nelson-King, Susan Payne O'Brien, Dell Wade, E. Briskin, Tanya Holtland, Brian Dang, Rachel Karyo, Anthony Warnke and Eric Acosta (not pictures as he did this cool thing where people throughout the audience were reading! Bravo!)  Just so impressed by everyone's care and interest in this text!
