Christine Deavel

Poet

Christine Deavel has published poems and essays, including the poetry collection Woodnote (Bear Star Press, 2012), which received the Washington State Book Award. From 1995 to 2016, Christine, along with her husband, J.W Marshall, owned and operated Open Books, the poetry-only bookstore in Seattle.

She is a patient and family liaison at Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.
