Patrick Milian

Poet

Patrick Milian is a queer, positive, Cuban American teacher and writer. He holds an MFA and a PhD from the University of Washington. Recipient of fellowships from the Simpson Center for the Humanities, he is the author of the chapbook Pornographies (Greying Ghost 2018).

His poems have appeared in POETRY, Gulf Coast, Los Angeles Review, and The Mid-American Review. His essays have appeared in Modernism/modernity, Pacific Coast Philology, and Fourteen Hills. Born in Denver, he lives in Seattle and teaches at Green River College.
