Musician, composer, and emeritus professor R. Gary Deavel retired from Manchester University in North Manchester, Indiana, where he taught piano, organ, music theory, and humanities. He lives in Traverse City, Michigan.  Having recently turned 89, it seems to us that Gary will be our reigning elder for the foreseeable future.  Hurrah!
